Creativity & Leadership

Life Coaching Application

In my coaching practice, creativity shows up as I proactively cultivate change. I help clients become who they aspire to be by examining who they are. When clients are guided through discovering who they are on a deeply inner personal level, often what emerges is their own creativity to step out and redesign thoughts, feelings and beliefs. As a result, they begin moving forward to living their best life. As a coach I help clients become leaders through creativity in their own lives!

Hurdles to Triumph

“The triumph can’t be had without the struggle.”
—Wilma Rudolph

Moving through life and jumping hurdles is a part of everyone’s journey. And mine is no exception. The biggest lesson that I have learned along the way is that my own inner beliefs and self talk have more impact and influence on me than those filtering in from the outside. Pastor Brian Edmond, Senior Pastor of Macedonia Pittsburgh, my home church, spoke recently about living from the inside out. What resides on the inside should influence what is manifested on the outside, not the other way around. Very powerful indeed, especially when you have triumphed over the negative self talk that resides in your head, most of which —believe it or not— is rooted in past experiences.

One of my goals as a life coach is to help people move through hurdles right into triumph and victory. Watch the video to learn more…

Stepping Into a God-Inspired Vision

Going out on a limb back in 2013, I set a whole new path for my life. I walked away from a longstanding career and ventured down the proverbial road less traveled, kind of like Hansel and Gretel as they ventured into the unknown depths of the forest. I found myself in a place that was scary, unpredictable, and full of unexpected roadblocks. However, I was determined to keep my focus on purposeful living, so I set some very specific goals with the intention of living life on my own terms.
